Cornerstone Classical Collaborative is led by a growing team of parents and educators who share a passion for Christ‑centered, classical learning. We believe families flourish when they are supported by leaders who love Scripture, love children, and love learning. Meet the people who help shape our community with wisdom, joy, and purpose.
Founding Story
Dr. Melanie Bisson has always been a teacher at heart. Whether she was leading national sales team, mentoring young professionals, training dance students, or guiding discussions in the classroom, she has long felt most alive when helping others grow.
After sixteen years in sales management and business development, she sensed the Lord calling her into a different kind of leadership—one centered on home, discipleship, and the formation of her own children.

What began as a simple step of obedience has become a deep passion. Now in her third year of homeschooling, Melanie has discovered that the rhythms of teaching, learning, and walking alongside children is as equally joyful as it is humbling. She naturally creates spaces where curiosity is welcomed, where Scripture shapes understanding, and now where families learn together in community.

Alongside founding Cornerstone Classical Collaborative, Melanie serves as a Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies at Christ College in Satellite Beach, Florida. Her rich academic background—spanning entrepreneurship, marketing, business strategy, and educational leadership—gives her a unique ability to design learning environments that are both thoughtful and practical, rooted in tradition yet responsive to real families’ needs.

More than anything, Melanie believes that parents are called and equipped to disciple their children, and that education is most powerful when it forms the whole person—heart, mind, and character.
Cornerstone grew out of that conviction: a desire to build a peaceful, Christ‑centered community where families can learn, grow, and pursue wisdom together.

She is married to her childhood sweetheart, Aaron, and loves sharing their testimony of the Lord's redeeming hand. Together, they are the parents of two young sons who continually remind them why this work matters.
